Thoughts about pay2win aspect and this current cap damage

Don't worry, this won't be a long text like this one (which I closed for this reason)

 

But, I have left a few points about this specific topic in that thread. You can use a few of them as reference, but don't comment them. Just leave your thoughts.

 

Just to summarize. Just to think, yes Nexon might have done it wrong when they raised cap damage and at same time, buffing bosses HP, there was also no way to get free cubes when they raised cap. But, the solo aspect take too much place in some players mentality especially when they watch those OP players doing cap and solo several end-game bosses (except hard lotus of course). Why playing a MMORPG if you want play solo? You might want get 2-2M range clean to solo chaos vellum as example, but if you can bring 5 other people and you guys all have 500-600k attack range with decent % boss and 90%+ ignore monster def, this is not pay2win but play2win or especially party to win.

 

No need to solo everything to win the game, that is my opinion about pay2win aspect, we can also party2win.

 

Plus there are a lot of ways to gain free damage, certain other ways should be lot more accessible, other than putting cubes in FM shop. The lack of free stuffs also creates illegal transaction in pay2win aspect, but we won't talk about that further, unless you guys want and say it is related with my main topic, which is the consequence of pay2win aspect. Pay2win aspect being a mix of Nexon and players mentality faults.

 

If I want talk more about cap damage, since most classes have this same cap damage, it creates a kind of unbalance in classes mainly because of funding, which is being a lot more pay2win. Dojo is a perfect example of class unbalance at cap level too. And I also think cap damage is way too high. I thought a lower cap is needed and slightly nerf boss HP, not scaling with the lower cap because people can still solo end-game boss. I mean if we lower cap damage by 40%, boss HP should be nerfed by 10-15%. They are end-game after all, but we can create a difficulty mode between normal and chaos boss.

 

Pretty much my thought about pay2win aspect and this current cap damage.

Maplestory2:Question about weapon Ignore enemy defense and damage to boss

So I got my weapon just yesterday, which has 30% damage to boss and potential 30% ignore of the enemy defense. Before, my ATT stas is around 40k-44k because I do not fund my character at all. Does that mean before I am super weak?
